The morning after Millennium night I was allowed out of my computer-infested box to return home. Half the rubbish that the millions of revellers had left was champagne bottles! And yes, in the second picture that is a quite nice walking boot someone has lost.

The debris you see here is on Vauxhall Bridge. One bus passed me close to the kerb and showered the pavement with broken glass!
